Knitted graffiti

I want to introduce you a new direction in the knitting created by a woman from Texas who was unsatisfyed with urban sceneries  and as a result has decorated her city by means of  the knitted graffiti. It's really creative, incredible and unbelievable. When I first saw it I was really stricken.
Have you ever seen a sweater for tank or for trees? If you haven't done it then look at these amazing pictures of so-called urban graffiti or yarnbombing:) Imagine if our trees and lamp posts would be "dressed" in such  pretty clothes. By the way, it's  a nice idea, isn't it?

Winter has come!

I want to congratulate everyone on the first snow!! It has encouraged me to put this wonderful and entertaining poem about winter there.  I am sure that winter should be winter with soft, deep snow and snowdrifts everywhere! However, it 's a  real rarity in our surroundings as we usually have so-called green winter with no snow. Nevertheless, this quite childish poem makes us dream of  such a fairytale in winter:)

THE ANGEL OF DECEMBER

The angel of December is the angel of generosity.

The December angel celebrates with us this time of giving gifts to all the wild creatures and to all God's children. The angel of December leads us to join hands with people of all races and relogions, recognizing that we are children of the same creator, and we share the responsibility of bringing joy and health upon the earth.
Inspired by December's angel, we can celebrate this season of brotherhood by doing one act of kidness everyday, going out of our way to bring warmth, light and happiness into another's life.

Something about stores

Some people prefer shopping in the traditional market, others like doing it in big stores, but what is the most sensible way to shop among this great variety of stores? And are we always reasonable in our choice?
On the one hand, big stores are really very convenient especially for busy people who can buy there everything they need from food to powders as at such shops which we call shopping centres or supermarkets we can find a confectioner's, a chemist's, a newsagent's,a baker's, a stationer's and even a pet shop and other departments which are rolled into one big store. Moreover, you can pay there not only in cash but also by credit card. Apart from this, as a rule, there always works a discount system which encourages and attracts its customers. So there are favorable conditions for doing shopping and actually it caters for every taste, personally for mine as well. However, when you look at this plenty of goods, it is really difficult to resist to temptation of not buying anything and coming away empty-handed. It's almost impossible! Furthermore, there has became very popular in our stores as in European ones to make big season sales that come before new collections. On such days you can see so-called hustle and bustle of shoppers who want to be the first and to buy something useful or even unusable but at discount.
On the other hand, despite all the advantages of department stores, there are some considerable drawbacks. For example, you can't be sure in the quality of goods especially at food departments. Products may be past its expire date as it isn't difficult for seller to change this date the way you'll never guess about it before you go home and taste it.
Moreover, I strongly believe that the freshest vegetables and fruits you can buy only at a simple traditional market because such products are not usually first-rate at supermarkets.
Also there are some interesting kinds of shops which have to be mentioned. We call them boutiques and designer fashion houses which are mostly spread in such European cities like Paris, etc. There customers can see a wide range of brand-new, exquisite and exclusive goods. An average man can go there not just because he wants to buy something but because he wants to admire and enjoy this luxury and pomp as such stores often looks like museums and we feel us like window shoppers who have no intention to buy these things. One famous American museum director said :
'A great department store, easily reached, open at all hours, is more like a good museum of art than any of the museums we have yet established.' And when we look at such stores we realize that it's really true.
Nevertheless, there is a great variety of stores nowadays and everyone chooses his ideal way of chopping as tastes differ. All in all, our system of shopping improves and traders try to cater every consumer's whim.

PARIS-MIME

"Paris Je t'aime " is a  film which consists of 18 different short stories. A distinguishing feature of the film is that  each episode lasts no longer than 5 minutes. Furthermore,  each story has its producer, actors and a script writer.
Here is a movie about mime. A boy tells us how his parents have met ( at the beginning of the movie he says that they got acquainted  in prison). Though, the language of the story is French, you understand everything as art  mime doesn't require any words. I sincerely enjoyed watching it because  it's so positive, sunny, light and vivid. It really makes you smile
